Trial Review
After the 2/3 weeks to 2 months of the Wearer Tech Safety shoes trials complete, I wanted to give some feedback and thoughts on how I have gotten on with the shoes since this time period. Comfort/Practical: Positives - From a comfort position they have been very refreshing to wear and giving the added supportive to my feet. Being breathable from the mesh design and having the adjustable insole on the depending on arch that the user themselves has (Flat arch to High arch) I feel that I have been more productive into my work without pain/strain to my feet. I also found the grip of the shoes where to me very good too. Negatives - The only negative that I found discomforting at the start was the tonged of the shoes was slightly irritating but after setting the shoes correctly adjusting them to a degree, they were then very comfortable. Look/Design Positives - Genuinely I think they look very good. It gives a professional look too with the one's that I have trialled; they also don't stand out either giving the uniform unified feel to them. Negative - I feel if we are going remain on the mesh design in both safety and non-safety shoes, they will be fine for many of the portering team. From looking in the catalogue with John and myself we felt some of the designs would be unfavourably or unpractical to some of the remaining of staff who may opt for other shoe options. Although from an overall perspective I would genuinely say that there are a very good pair of shoes that I've worn for some time from going through multiple pairs from different companies in the past. I'd also say these designs would be highly recommended for our staffing with the mesh safety or non-safety shoes which would be in discussion with H&S. Also after the meeting with the WearerTech representative the discussion with John and I the pricing would be the deciding factor.
